Friday, December 22, 2022 -Mundika villagers in Busia County have confirmed that now they are safe after a series of robbery incidents occurring in their area.
Their village, since January this year, witnessed constant attacks from some youths who have been robbing and stabbing them due to increased cost of living.
Many homes were left terrorised by the marauding gang that wields rungus and pangas.
It was reported that though locals tried their best to report the matter to the police, the crime continued going up by day.
It was until when a traditional doctor was specifically assigned to quell the crime that nomalcy was recently restored in the area.
“We had to use a powerful traditional doctor called Ngoso to finish the robbery incidents in our area.
“We are now quite happy to see that all thieves were completely wiped away,” said Morris, one of the locals from Mundika area.
