Sunday, June 2, 2024 – Kenya Police has announced an immediate manhunt against a man who was captured on camera assaulting a traffic police officer on Kamiti Road, Nairobi.

In the video clip that has been shared widely on the internet, on Sunday, a man putting on a red vest can been angrily rain kicks and blows on an helpless traffic cop who falls down, in defense, but the civilian man continues to hit him in the face with hard  and killer kicks.

Kenyans on social media who has been sharing the clip among themselves wondered why the man could go to that extend when there is law in existence.

In a statement by the police, the said criminal has been labeled ‘armed and dangerous’ and is needed urgently for arrest.

Members of the Public have been urged to share any details of the said man so that to help in his arrest before he can cause more harm out there.

This incident coming just a month after another similar one happened on the Nakuru-Nairobi Highway in which two men were seen hurling insults at a defenseless traffic cop who kept pleading with them to calm but couldn’t.
