Thursday, February 22, 2024 -President William Ruto has warned State officials against buying into the lie that those who purport to be close to him should be prioritiesed and always have their way.

He warned his Cabinet against misusing their offices to run corruption with cartels and individuals who purport to be close to the president.

Ruto stated that some individuals take photos with him to use them to intimidate Senior State officials to offer them multimillion businesses and vacancies for their families.

Ruto, therefore, assured all Government officials of his support anytime they want it.

Addressing in the ongoing Naivasha government retreat on Wednesday February 21, the head of State promised to offer guidance to anyone who wants his support in the dockets they serve.

“I gave you that job knowing quite well that you have the ability and qualities to deliver. Seek my support when stuck. You have no room to make mistakes,” he added.

The commander-in-chief assured them that he will, timely, respond to any mobile text and WhatsApp message whenever they send it to him even during his busy tours abroad.

He also assured them that he will remain open to them at all times so that success can be achieved during his tenure.
