“Ask those who knew me before I was elected. You can tell. For me I don’t lie and if I cannot do anything you ask me of, I will openly tell you that it is not easy. Be a real person in this life,” he advised.
The ODM Party secretary general added that what MPs go to Parliament to do is to make wealth and not to represent anyone.
“In Parliament its business. And the choice is very simple. You can not talk the way I talk and make money. I am very poor. In Parliament there is ready money every day,” he noted further.

“If I also want to make money, I can also make money and a lot of it by the way. For me, colleagues laugh at me that I make a lot of noise when I don’t have anything for myself. I also want good life you people but I am guided by integrity,” he said adding that:
“The day you will see me silent and the tone changed, know that I have bagged myself a tender in Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.
Sifuna, in another latest interview, used the opportunity to ask President William Ruto to pay doctors well.
He said the taxes paid by Kenyans do not belong to the president and, therefore, using part of the money to settle with doctors is something he(Ruto) should not hesitate.
The politician clarified that the opposition is in full support of doctors’ ongoing strike until their grievances are resolved.
