Sudi Fires Back at Gachagua as Political Tension Escalates in Government

Chrispen

Sunday, May 26, 2024 –Kapsaret Member of Parliament MP Oscar Sudi has today responded to Deputy President Rigathi Ghachagua who accused a section of Rift Valley leaders of frustrating his political career as well as working hard to dis-tabilise his future.

Speaking on Sunday May 26 to a congregation at the AIC Kipkorgot Church in Ainabkoi Constituency, Sudi fired salvos at the DP asking him to stop suppressing voices and activities of young tucks in government.

He said he was born in Sunday school and going round the country and making contributions for churches is something he cannot live without.

“Did I ask you for money or fuel. And kindly tell me if choppers were made for some people and others are not supposed to use them?” Sudi, a close ally of William Ruto, responded today Sunday in another church fundraiser.

The Kapsaret legislator took issue with Gachagua’s rant that MPs should stay where they were elected and avoid political tourism.

“How do you say Sudi should not go round and you are saying this when you are in someone else’s area? Without traversing around the country, we were not going to have this government. Remain at your home if you don’t want to go around helping the poor,” he fired.

The second term lawmaker reminded those complaining about his activities that he only attends fundraisers when invited and, therefore, he should not be blamed for this kind of generosuty.

MP sudi warned that whatever threats some individuals are orchestrating against his leadership style, will not see the light of day because the era of tribalism is long gone and Kenyans will not buy that, anymore.

“Stop dividing the country. Good leaders should work hard to unite everyone not to divide people in terms of communities,” he added in reference to what the DP announced yesterday Saturday May 25.

The fire-spitting Sudi told off the DP and his team that any attempts to frustrate junior leaders will lead to an equal counter force.

He warned both Gachagua and their boss William Ruto to stay away from young politicians who are trying to horn their skills.

“Some people saying I am monied. What is wrong with that. You want me to be poor? I only support churches and I am going to support churches with the little I have every day,” further lashed Sudi.

His sentiments coming just a day after Roads and Transport CS Kipchumba Murkomen also told the DP that he(Gachagua) was yet to see what Ruto saw in Jubilee administration under retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“What you are complaining about is what should be happening. You must know that you hold an important office and which attracts alot of attention. Ruto’s days were worse but he sailed through”.

Yesterday in Kesses Constituency, DP Righathi Gachagua, who was on a charm offensive tirade, claimed that some young leaders close to the boss were hellbent on mis-advising the head of State with an aim of staging unnecessary succession friction.

Falling short of mentioning names, Gachagua clarified that the questionable leaders in Kenya Kwanza were strictly three and who coalesce around the Statehouse.
