Monday, November 6, 2023 -Two Wells Fargo staff staff are on the run after allegedly stealing sh 94 million from the company’s vault in Nairobi.
The staff members, identified as Daniel Mungai and Anthony Nduiki, were supposed to deliver the money to Family Bank along Kenyatta Avenue Nairobi for Quickmart Kenya, but they sneaked out without a police escort early on Monday November 6 morning.
According to Mr George Jaramba, the investigation manager at Wells Fargo Kenya, the staff members dumped the vehicle, an Isuzu Canter with registration number KBA 517 T, at Dafarm in South C in Langata sub-county. The vehicle was found empty and the money was missing.
Police have launched a manhunt for the suspects and are appealing to anyone with information to contact them.
