Monday, February 5, 2024 -Kenyans across the country will have, at least, a reduced electricity power price. This is according to KenGen company.
The company’s Chief Executive Officer CEO Peter Njenga, on Monday, said this has been caused by surplus in the hydropower levels.
Njenga revealed that the power generation increased following improved water levels at the sources.
For instance, Masinga Dam, which remains the largest in Kenya, hit near maximum levels of 1,056 meters above the sea levels.
