Thursday, April 15, 2021 -Nairobi County Deputy Governor Ms Anne Kananu paid a courtesy call to the orange Democratic Movement ODM Party boss Raila Odinga at his Karen residence.
In the photos which Mr. Odinga posted on his social media timeline on Thursday April 15, Ms Kananu was today seen handing over some two white goats to Mr. Odinga in the presence of Mama Ida Odinga.
The former premier then hailed the acting Nairobi Governor for her kind gesture of paying him a visit to wish him quick recovery from Covid-19.
“Mama @IdaOdinga and I were pleased to host Nairobi Deputy Governor and acting Governor Ann Kananu Mwenda. Asante kwa zawadi ya mbuzi,” wrote Odinga.

Sources have not leaked what the two could have discussed in their today meeting but pundits think Kanau is simply preparing her 2022 political journey through an ODM Party ticket.
Kananu found herself at the top of Nairobi leadership after the embattled former Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko was impeached both by Members of County Assembly MCAs and at the Senate level.
He had been accused of misuse of power, corruption and abuse of office. He has since remained quiet on whether he will be vying for any political seat or not.
