Wednesday, April 21, 2021 -Another man was yesterday arrested by police after he was realized to have murdered his girlfriend in Ruiru same area Catherine Nyokabi was murdered.

Franklin Munyau (44) who is a waiter by profession was arrested after neighbours noticed a foul smell and a swarm of flies clustering around his door – a sure signal that something was decomposing in his room.

According to neighbours, he must have killed the girl two or three days ago and continued staying in the same house with the body. He would confidently leave in the morning and return in the evening.

“We even saw him leaving for work this morning (Tuesday, April 20). We’re shocked to learn that he was staying with a dead woman’s body in his house,” revealed John Ngara.

The odour was first smelt last Tuesday morning when his neighbours started having a weird feeling after not having seen the girl for some days. Alarm bells went off and the neighbours alerted the police

“We did not know the lady had been killed. Franklin Munyao would routinely leave the house in the morning and return in the evening,” Ngara, his neighbor recounted.

This murder is coming barely two weeks after the brutal killing of the late waiter Catherine Nyokabi 24. She was found killed by her unapologetic boyfriend.
