Biden recalls sacked scientists back on job for Covid-19 task

Good news to the world as US President-elect Joe Biden hits the road running by promising to fight Coronavirus through scientists and researchers.

New York Post, reported how President Biden had already made good his threats by selecting heads of his Coronavirus Task Force.

In the team, is top Surgeon General Vivek Murthy who was once fired from job after Donald Trump ascended to power back in 2016.

Murthy, who served in Barrack Obama’s administration, is touted as the top doctor in America and could be named as a co-chair alongside David Kessler who has been helping a great deal in Biden’s Democratic campaigns.

The team will also be joined by Dr. Marcella Nunez Smith from Yale University. This is according to CNN News.

Mr. Biden promised to start his journey in office by formulating an able team of able researchers and Scientists tasked with helping fight Covid-19 which has claimed lives of millions. He spoke about this during his Victory speech in his hometown Delaware in Mid Atlantic Region.

“The work starts right away,” Bedingfield said.

“People want the country to move forward,” she continued, adding that the election result proved that “people are hungry for change”.

Sources have also told the media that Mr. Biden will be working from anywhere starting this first week in power. And that he had already started making official calls and discussing with various government agencies on how America could be brought back on track.

“He’s going to begin transition work in earnest this week. He’ll be making calls, he’ll be making announcements to the American people, on how he’s going to make good on these campaign promises,” she said.

Before Trump sacked him, Dr. Murthy had been appointed by President Barrack Obama for a four year term.
