Sorrowful moments engulfed Kericho residents when the famous Dj Mwas was finally laid to rest at his Ainamoi home in Kericho County.
Mwas and his wife Yvette Chepkemoi were involved in an evening grisly road crash that left them dead on the spot. The accident occurred along Kericho-Litein Highway.
Mourning the two gone lovebirds, Kericho Senator Aoron Cheruiyot described them as “great entrepreneurs whose mark will never be forgotten.”
“First of all I want to send my message of condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, I know it’s a big loss but may God give you strength during this hard time of mourning. Kericho County has lost a great entrepreneur. You maybe gone but never forgotten,” he said.
Thousands of Fans of Mwas flocked his home regardless of Covid-19 danger to pay him the last respect alongside his lovely wife.
