Friday June 4, 2021 -Twenty three year old Maureen Mung’ohe Musungu has returned home safely after she went missing for two weeks.
Her family has made this confirmation saying their kin finally came back home safe and they have arranged for medical checkups to ascertain her state of health.
The third year Strathmore University student left home on May 21 with a promise to return in the evening after meeting her friends.
According to her mother Morgan Ambani, the daughter did not provide a lot of information about which friends she was going to meet up with but this did not sound so strange to them because they knew she would be back; only to fail in the evening.
“In the evening I was concerned that it was starting to get late and she wasn’t home, so I called her and she said she was in Utawala. Her phone went off at 8:30 pm before she could pin the exact location,” the mother Ambani told media.
Maureen is expected to report back to school anytime as she is late.
