Thursday, January 21, 2021 -Deputy President William Ruto is almost being kicked out of Jubilee Party which he helped form in 2013.
Jubilee Party Nakuru Branch through their Secretary General Peter Cheruiyot has reportedly written to their Deputy Party leader requiring him to explain why he should not be punished for being an errant member of the party.
The Show Cause letter wants him to give a convincing explanation as to why he should not undergo a disciplinary process as per the party’s Constitution.
“As Jubilee Party we are guided by our party’s Constitution which outlines matters constituting disciplinary measures,” partly read the letter.

The ruling party among other accusations claimed Ruto has always disrespected the party leader Uhuru Kenyatta by associating himself with new political formations like the newly launched United Democratic Alliance UDA Party. They also claim that the DP has been behaving in manner not consistent with the party’s philosophy.
According to letter seem by Homenews.co.ke, they want Mr. Ruto to defend himself within a period of one week.
