Thursday, May 27, 2021 -Politician-cum-businessman William Kabogo has harshly criticized Raila Odinga’s Orange Democratic Movement Party for sustaining their hatred for Mt. Kenya residents.
Appearing on Inooro Tv on Wednesday May 26, Mr. Kabogo took issue with a section of ODM members whom he accused of growing cold feet on BBI just because of the extra 70 Constituencies proposed in the new Bill.
He took the opportunity to openly lambast Raila for indirectly skipping the initiative after learning that Mt. Kenya part of the nation was going to benefit a lot more from it.
According to the former Governor of Kiambu, should Court of Appeal remain firm on the High Court verdict on the BBI, Uhuru Kenyatta will have to take the parliamentary route to avoid the Referendum.
“I hate when people have double minds regarding any projects. When they discovered that things will be better in our region than theirs, they started to oppose the document in the name of introducing amendments. On referendum question, Uhuru will approach the parliamentary way,” Kabogo remarked.
In his address on the same radio station, he hinted at working with William Ruto saying the DP stands a higher chance of becoming the next president if he will invite him(Kabogo) and Musalia Mudavadi on board.
“William Ruto is my friend and let me announce that he has increased chances of becoming the next president of Kenya. He only need to invite me and my brother Musalja Mudavadi from the western, all others are useless figures who can’t deliver anything,” Kabogo added.
Kabogo’s sentiments are coming just a day after they held another meeting in their Mt. Kenya region in which they promised to field one of them for the top seat in 2022.
