Thursday, June 29, 2023 –Azimio la Umoja co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has resurfaced days after missing recent opposition leaders’ rally and meetings.
To put to rest the increasing speculations over his whereabouts, the Wiper Party boss has disclosed that he was not in the country.
For instance, he pointed out the Tuesday June 27 Azimio’s jam-packed rally held at Kamuklunji Grounds which he missed because he had traveled to the United Kingdom UK.
While in the UK, the politician held meetings with officials from the Anglican Church in London led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.
Among other things they discussed, they deliberated more on the ongoing unrest in Sudan; something he confessed that he has to help find an urgent and lasting solution.
“We spent time discussing a number of matters of international importance particularly on African affairs including the South Sudan conflict together with the Archbishop of Canterbury’s Special Representative on the conflict in Sub-Saharan Africa, Bishop Precious Okomu.
“It is our collective prayer that everlasting peace will prevail in our region,” he stated.
Also in attendance, was the former Provost of All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi Mr. Sammy Wainaina.
The Wiper Party leader flew out of the country accompanied by his son Kennedy Musyoka currently serving as East African Legislative Assembly EALA legislator.
It is not very clear when he will be returning in the country even as Azimio schedules another rally on July 7 when it will declare another round of countrywide protests.
