Tuesday, April 5, 2022Kenya Kwanza founder Musalia Mudavadi now wants President Uhuru Kenyatta to build for him a local road in honour of his late mother Hannah Mudavadi.

This is because Uhuru Kenyatta made this promise in mother’s funeral service at Mululu Village and which Musalia now says should be fulfilled.

Speaking on a radio interview on Tuesday April 5, the ANC Party boss asked the head of State to send contractors on the site so that the work could start as soon as possible saying this ought to be started and completed before he(Uhuru)retires home.

Mudavadi was saying this in response to a local from Mululu who sought to know what he was doing to correct the 18-kilometers road which has been in bad shape for decades.

“All we are doing is to wait for the contractor to come on the ground and then say he has fulfilled his pledge,” he told KBC radio Taifa.

On January 19, 2021, President Kenyatta made the promise to the Mululu locals assuring them that the road will be built in honour of Mama Hannah.

“We have agreed that in honour of the departed, we shall work on the road we used coming here starting from Mango which is 18 kilometers. Before the end of three months, the work on that road will have begun,” Uhuru announced.

Mudavadi who still believes Uhuru has powers to fulfill the development agenda in his area is currently supporting DP William Ruto’s ambition of becoming the next head of State.

Mudvadi and Ruto are soliciting for votes through their Bottom Up Pesa Mfukoni slogan targeting thousands of poor youth and women in the country.
