Murathe strikes again as he picks Odinga for presidency

Jubilee Vice Chairman David Murathe has explained why he thinks Opposition leader Raila Odinga will be the next president of the Republic of Kenya and not DP William Ruto.

Mr. Murathe, in his own words, mentioned that Odinga has been on the forefront fighting for this nation and he ought to be rewarded the Mandela style.

Terming this as his own personal stand, he mentioned how he believes in his position not because he hates Ruto but because Odinga has more positive side than the deputy President.

The Jubilee Vice Chair who was speaking this on Citizen’s Tuesday night show with Wahiga Mwaura on September 1st further noted that DP’s greatest undoing was running very fast and forgetting there was a button he was supposed to pick from his boss Uhuru Kenyatta.

He added that the second in command misbehaved a lot while serving as deputy to Kenyatta and there was all the reasons for everyone to worry how he might behave once he finally takes over power.

“Look at how the DP has behaved all along while serving in the capacity of the deputy. So what will happen when he becomes the president,” Murathe posed the hard question with a clarification that this was his personal view and not holding brief for the president.

In a thin veiled attack to Ruto, Murathe who is believed to be a close and longtime ally to Mr. Kenyatta, openly termed the DP as a scandalous leader linked to many mega scandals in the country including the Weston and Lang’ata land sagas.

On his recent tv interview, however, Deputy President William Ruto faulted Murathe as a ‘broker and thug’ who had hijacked their party when he has no clue on how and where it was formed.
