ednesday, January 27, 2021 -Opposition leader Raila Odinga has taken Kenyans back to 2013 with a clip showing Deputy President William Ruto busy promising ‘lies’ to Kenyans.
In the 2013 video clip now doing rounds on social media, Ruto can be seen on the podium promising young men and women a digitized economy.
“Tunaweza tafutie vijana wetu ujuzi wa kiteknolojia ya kisasa. We are moving to a knowledge based technology economy,” Ruto said in their 2013 rally.
And now calling him by a new name ‘Mr. Six’, Odinga has said Ruto’s insatiable appetite for power has led him to lying every time he wants to be elected.
Odinga asked Kenyans to learn taming such persons who can never improve their lives owing to the fact that he(Ruto) has suddenly changed tune from a Digital man to now Wheelbarrows.
“Mr. Six months! In 2013 our youth, university graduates and diploma holders riding Bodabodas were assured that after six months you would deliver a knowledge-based-technology-driven economy”. 8 years later you’re telling them to replace a digital economy with wheelbarrows,” tweeted Odinga.

The ODM boss has said Ruto will have a very difficult time this time because Kenyans can see his open daylight lies 8 kilometers away.
On his part, Ruto while addressing supporters in Dagoretti South distanced himself from Jubilee shortfalls saying the Handshake brought problems in the ruling party and ODM must as well own any blame.
