Wednesday, February 17, 2021 – Former Funyula Member of Parliament Paul Otuoma has returned to his former party the Orange Democratic Movement ODM.
Disclosing the development, the former legislator from Busia County on Wednesday February 17 mentioned that he is happy to finally return home where he is more comfortable than anywhere else.
“Today I visited our party headquarters in Lavington Nairobi. It was a pleasure interacting with staff at Chungwa House #TukoTayari,” Otuoma wrote on Twitter.

Pundits have claimed that Otuoma is politically positioning himself to take over from the outgoing Sospiter Ojaamong who beat him with a narrow margin in the last general elections.
In their 2017 party primaries, Mr. Otuoma claimed there was massive electoral fraud that eventually saw his rival Ojaamong handed a certificate by ODM. He would then quickly switch to independent side where he also lost to Ojaamong in the final IEBC elections.
The ex-MP is currently serving as the chairperson of the Privatization Commission for a period of three years.
