Wednesday, June 9, 2021 -Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has resumed activities at his Upper Hill offices Nairobi after a long battle with Covid-19 virus.
Mr. Odinga who took a job break has been politically inactive and most of the time he has been holding low key activities at the comfort of his Karen home.
“Its great being back in office after a couple of month,” Raila updated on June 8.

In his first meeting in many months at Upper Hill, he hosted the Council Of Governors Chairman Martin Wambora and his Kisii counterpart James Ongwae where they discussed among other things, devolution and the Building Bridges Initiative BBI.
This was happening as President Uhuru Kenyatta was on a tour in Ethiopia for an official duty where he witnessed the issuance of operating license to Safaricom Consortium.
Safaricom comprising of Vodafone and Vodacom, UK’s CDC Group and Japan’s Sumitomo Corporation won a sh 91.8 billion bid to operate in Ethiopia.
Uhuru was in the company of Cabinet Secretary Rachel Omamo of Foreign Affairs and Joe Mucharu of ICT all who were received by Ethiopian Prime Minister Dr. Aby Ahmed.
