Sunday, April 11, 2021 -Orange Democratic Movement ODM Party leader Raila Odinga has visited ailing Rugby Coach Benjamin Ayimba at Nairobi Hospital.
Odinga who made the update early morning of Sunday April 11 noted that he had shared recovery prayers with the family of Mr. Ayimba which has been struggling with huge medical bills at Nairobi Hospital.
“I met the family of Kenyan Rugby legend Benjamin Ayimba who is currently hospitalized to offer prayers, encouragement, and extend support to them. You are in our prayers Benja,” Odinga tweeted.

Ayimba’s health story was first carried out by a popular gossip blog Dundapost which informed that the veteran had been hospitalised now for three weeks after he was diagnised with Cerebral Malaria.
President Uhuru Kenyatta would pick the story from there triggering him to support the family with a whopping sh 1 million for the rising bills.
Ayimba family and fellow rugby fraternity are currently raising sh 3 million to help in payment of the bills.
“His condition has deteriorated rapidly, and he needs all our help more than ever. We are appealing to all well-wishers to help contribute towards getting him the best medical treatment possible and back on his feet again,” a financial appeal poster read.

He veteran Kenya 7s tactician has been in and out of hospital since late 2020.
