Why Ruto nolonger trusts State choppers to move him around

Deputy President William Ruto nolonger trusts State owned transport means and has now resolved to using his own means to move around. Details now emerge.

Jubilee’s Party Deputy Secretary General Caleb Kositany while speaking to reporters on Saturday Sept 5th spilled the beans saying DP Ruto was more comfortable using his personal choppers than boarding State-owned ones for obvious reasons and which everyone can guess right.

He said if his own chopper was busy, Ruto would rather hire commercial ones to choffer him around his daily meetings citing the recent Mombasa event where he had to use a commercial flight to reach there.

“They have shown him that he is unwanted and he has decided to engage Kenyans from his own pocket if need be,” Kositany explained.

According to Kositany, though unconfirmed, the second in command had to put himself up in a hotel room of his choice as his Mombasa official residence was nolonger accessible. He had to pay for all the bills from his pocket.

This added to sensational sentiments aired by former majority leader Senator Kipchumba Murkomen on Ctizen Tv Live show where he claimed that the Statehouse machinery had thrown Ruto out of the said Mombasa residence.

And Ruto’s spokesperson Emmanuel Talam while weighing on the same matter said his boss had decided to lay back as Uhuru does his thing to complete his legacy.

“He is not the complaining type. He wants the president to build his legacy and is committed to helping him achieve that,” Talam stated.

Ruto was used to traversing the country in the name of doing development projects using State choppers but that is nolonger the case now. In fact, in many cases he would cover more than 20 events in a single weekend of two days.

Our sources have further intimated that his annual budget has also been cutdown to check on his unnecessary movements across the country.
