riday, May 28, 2021 -The meeting that took place between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Nyanza elected leaders today Friday May 28 saw Uhuru indirectly endorse Raila Odinga for 2022.
The president hosted the leaders led by Orange Democratic Movement ODM party boss Raila Odinga in a meeting held at Statehouse. The main agenda of the meeting was not so clear but sources claimed this was purely meant to cement relationship between the two communities – Kikuyu and Luo Nyanza.
That the head of State is making bold strides in finally uniting and bringing together communities that were not so close to each other before.
And while addressing the congregation, Uhuru used a tactical approach to endorse Raila Odinga for 2022.
“People are asking me when I will reveal my Successor, but I think this old man here can also succeed me. It is high time we create a conducive political environment for the next generation. Let us focus on working for the citizens of Kenya, and wait for exact time for us to speak politics,” he stated for the first time.

Uhuru and Raila are together pushing the Building Bridges Initiative BBI with an aim of subjecting the country to a Referendum before the end of the year.
The project has seen huge delegations from Central Region pay a visit to Raila Odinga both in Bondo Village home and at his Karen residence in Nairobi.
