hursday June 17, 2021 -It’s now almost official that President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Handshake partner Raila Odinga are forming an alliance to face up with DP William Ruto.
It emerged today that representatives from the two camps met today at Windsor Hotel in Nairobi to start crafting a formidable coalition ahead of 2022.
Photos which Homenews.co.ke has seen circulated by a section of social media confirmed the today’s meeting which included the lean teams from both sides.
Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju, Chairman David Murathe and Igembe North MP Maoka Maore converged for the better part of Thursday afternoon to start the High Octane deliberations. On the side of Mr. Odinga was Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and Suna East Member of Parliament Junet Mohamed.
“Jubilee has formed a Secretariat to ensure One NASA Candidate. First meeting at Windsor Hotel…. ODM and Jubilee discussed possibilities of a Coalition agreement,” Ruto aide Denis Itumbi updated on his Twitter.
From impeccable sources, Uhuru and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have come to a conclusion that they must have one team to be able to win next race with a landslide.
On his part, William Ruto has mounted a spirited campaign through his Hustler narrative which he believes will propel him to the Statehouse with alot of ease.
He has since asked those forming alliances to instead think about an agenda that can benefit Kenyans.
Within the NASA however, there is still internal wrangles with parties ganging up against Mr. Odinga who they have accused of distrust.
