Why Mbadi is nolonger attacking Ruto. Revealed

Tuesday, February 9, 2021 -Suba MP John Mbadi has toned down on attacks against Deputy President William Ruto and is rarely seen in many of the ODM press conferences.

Mr. Mbadi who is a staunch ODM politician and who is currently serving as Minority leader in the National Assembly is always known for his abrasive type of politics and would make many appearances as possible in all ODM activities.

But oflate, he has been missing in action and further avoided public spats with Tangatanga team allied to the Deputy President. Sources claim he has kept off attacking the DP because he believes the more they fight him the more he becomes popular by day posing a threat to Odinga’s 2022 bid.

“He  doesn’t want to play into the gallery of DP. He wants to avoid it by all means. He has been urging other colleagues to also avoid attacking Ruto who knows how to capitalize on such weaknesses to rise to fame,” a source disclosed.

Some sources also claim the Minority leader could be having an issue with some members in their ODM Party owing to the fact that he reportedly wants to vie for a top seat in some county in Nyanza. This has led to cold war within their ODM wing.

But even as this emerges, Mbadi is still in ODM and has hitherto mentioned nothing in contrary. He could hit the ground running at the rightful time.

Probably in 2022 or late this year, the two term MP will openly be declaring his next stop.
